Though in literary terms it would not be accurate, if you want your Lady Lazarus to be a blonde or brunette....so be it. Her eyes are french knots using one strand of the greenest part of Forest Glade. Her eyes could also change to fit your needs as well...!

Taken from an oft quoted Sylvia Plath poem, this phrase conjures all kinds of images for me though the subject of this poem is a dark one, which for Plath, seems to be more the norm than not....She compares herself to the biblical Lazarus who was resurrected by Christ, because she herself had been resurrected from three attempts of suicide. She also compares herself to a cat with 9 lives. Her disdain for the male species shows thru in this line, thus my images, which are not of suicide, but "Eating men like air..." and then flinging them away at my will. Ha. Poets and writers are amazing. The way that she uses, and often used, such serious issues in her life for her art, and in some ways in this particular poem, really makes light of the reality that is her life and the depression she lives with. Plath succeeded in killing herself in 1963 at the age of thirty, leaving two children and an enormous catalog of novels and poems for the world.
