This design came from a song I learned in Girls Scouts, maybe even Brownies...It is a blessing. While stitching this model I was rehearsing a production of "Oliver!" As the cast and crew watched the progress of my stitching over the weeks, they would sing to themselves, and to me, their version of the "Johnny Appleseed Blessing"...seems we all knew it, and all learned slightly different versions! How cool!!! We all grew up in different parts of the country and in many environments but everybody knew it! Who knew?!?! I believe Johnny Appleseed to be a great American story, no matter what version you know.

Model was stitched on 36 count Roasted Crown blend from R&R using Sampler and Weeks threads.
